Stanley park

Ahoy, matey! Ahooooy! Matey? Where aaare you? Where the fuck are you??
While I was taking this picture Annie ditched me. Straight up ditched me. She took off on her bike and left me for two hours. She had no phone, no wallet, no boyfriend. Lost on the pacific ocean. On a pink bike. Typical.

Found her.

But I had to climb this huge redwood to do it

She was soo happy to be un-lost that she had to hug a tree. Typical.

USA part 1

The Peace Arch. 'Brethren dwelling together in unity" Unity. And, "May these gates never be closed."
It was really touching after an hour long wait.
We waited five minutes to get back into Canada.

Kind of an interesting way to draw the line. Who doesn't like granit? It's strong, timeless and it's great for countertops, but it wasn't until a little later on, in a mall, that we saw a signpost slightly more poignant.

No welcome is as warm as a freshly fired gun. Some almost half off! We bought three but couldn't get them back into our stupid country. Something about a permit or a gun rack or whatever. It was totally unfair.

Fourteen hundred and thirty two calories of curly fried, processed cheese, fountain poppin' heaven.

Annie Haines, looking a little too satisfied.

"Jack put what in your box?"

WEEEEEEEEEEE!

As you all know very well, with Annie it's always a race. I'm sure that most of you know by now, I always win.
Playing safe and looking cool.
This picture marks the first poll to be taken on our blog. Which Frisken is better looking? You can vote as many times as you like. Go.

A special note should be made on our zipline tour and that note is simply this: This shit is ridiculously over priced. wow.

The wedding day

Unfortunately we could not attend the wedding of Cynthia and John BUT we did manage to arrange for several hundred thousand people to attend a fireworks presentation in their honour. You're welcome.

But in all seriousness, Cynthia and John, we are sooo happy for you and are sorry we couldn't be there to celebrate with you. We decided to have a day in tribute to you.

Here's to you guys...we wish you a long and happy life together.
Love, us.

Ivan got a little emotional during his speech.

Boozing

Iain and Deann, true love forever.

A picture is worth fourteen drinks. It's nice to see locals coming out to support Pride weekend.

Van city

The west coast seems to be full of people that are holier than thou. If not thou, then definitely us. However, they don't recycle and they don't compost and, I'm told, their filling up their valleys with all of their trash. But it sure is pretty here. Annie has started to meditate daily.

Me too. This is a new yoga pose and I call it 'The leap frog'. It's quite a challenging pose to hold and it really focuses my energy. The name was inspired, it just kinda hopped into my head.

The seagulls here are really big, as is their shit, which is oddly shaped and in shinny gold trimmed piles.

There are several postulations as to what may have taken control of Annie during this timely photo. There is one, however, that holds more water than most. After spending the afternoon drinking near the ocean she somehow offended the gods and was then possessed by Akkorokamui. At the peak of Akkorokamui's rage, and thanks to her recent meditation, she managed to find inner piece before snatching off most of the right side of my face with razor sharp fangs.

Phewf!

Hostel life

While the sun was shining everyone at the beach, Buddy-who's-his-face was working on this painting. Three days worth of work for a bed on each of those nights. Was it worth it? For him, probably not. For us, absolutely.

Decisions, decisions. Glasgow, Tel Aviv, Forbes, all very enticing. And Warracul!, I wonder if Anooshki still has my tube socks?! To decide I made Annie close her eyes and spin around five and a third times. Whichever directions her left pinky toe was pointing towards was where we would head. So we're in Vancouver.

Those are some nice gams.
